Sarthe Tourisme and the regional digital activity network (Animateurs Numériques du Territoire, or ANT) work closely with Sarthe tourism's service providers in the digital domain.

All over France, regional digital activity leaders set out to support local tourism professionals to enhance their performance on the Internet.

"In Sarthe, a network of 8 ANTs has been operating since 2014."

Sarthe Tourisme coordinates the network of ANTs across Sarthe and provides a comprehensive digital activity programme, for the department and locally, in the Sarthe regions not covered by local ANTs.

The primary objective of this network was to establish a common framework to jointly conduct a survey on the digital practices of tourism socio-professionals in Sarthe. If you have not yet responded to the survey, you can still do so online.

Web support
Sarthe Développement provides direct support on the web to tourist offices, regions, municipal communities and tourist service providers using the e-SPRIT syndication feeds. Today, more than 15 websites are fed directly through data streams configured and managed by Sarthe Développement. Tourist service providers also automatically incorporate tourism data from their surroundings through widgets generated from their personal e-SPRIT space.

Sarthe's ANTs:

  • run themed practical workshops,
  • audit the websites of tourist service providers who request it,
  • solicit training organisations for longer-term support for service providers
  • organise conferences on e-tourism with the involvement of experts
